Seeing your windows is essential to making accurate recommendations for blinds or drapery that will elevate your space and provide the light filtering you desire.
Showroom Visits & In-Home Consultations
If you’re already coming into Vancouver, we encourage you to visit the Fresh Design showroom to see the products in person, test blind mechanisms including motorization, and see all the colours and fabric choices available.
If you’re ready to move forward, we can also arrange an in-home consultation.
Trip Charges for Whistler & Squamish
There is a $250 trip charge for installers to provide on-site visits in Whistler and Squamish. If you require any in-home warranty work after your blinds are installed, this $250 trip charge would apply.
The standard Vancouver service call charge is $150. The price difference reflects the travel distance; however, you’ll receive the same high level of service.
We aim to minimize unnecessary trips by starting remotely whenever possible.

If an on-site visit is required for an installer to remove or service the blinds, the $250 trip charge applies.
Client Project: Whistler Village Full Home of Window Treatments
Fresh Design recently finished a client project in Whistler that featured beautiful custom drapery in nearly every room.
This Whistler Village home underwent a full renovation led by SuCasa Design, with window coverings planned a year in advance to support a fully motorized blinds solution. The home was hardwired during construction, allowing all motorized window treatments to connect back to a central panel and ensuring a clean, seamless finish.
Custom motorized Roman shades were installed throughout the bedrooms, layered with drapery for added softness and light control. These double treatments created a luxurious and cozy feeling perfect for a mountain hideaway.
Each room featured its own fabric and pattern, thoughtfully coordinated with wallpaper and furnishings. This included three children’s rooms designed with playful yet refined details.
In the primary bedroom, blackout drapery was layered over motorized Roman shades to accommodate a patio door. The en suite bathroom featured sheer drapery around the tub, adding privacy while maintaining natural light.
In the main living areas, floor-to-ceiling drapery spans expansive patio doors, while a woven wood Roman shade above the kitchen sink adds organic texture. The result is a cohesive, elevated home, with custom window coverings completing the design.
