Showroom Visits & In-Home Consultations
If you’re already coming into Vancouver, we encourage you to visit the Fresh Design showroom to see the products in person, test blind mechanisms including motorization, and see all the colours and fabric choices available.

Trip Charges for Squamish & Whistler
There is a $250 trip charge for installers to provide on-site visits in Squamish and Whistler. If you require any in-home warranty work after your blinds are installed, this $250 trip charge would apply.
The standard Vancouver service call charge is $150. The price difference reflects the travel distance; however, you’ll receive the same high level of service.
We aim to minimize unnecessary trips by starting remotely whenever possible.

If an on-site visit is required for an installer to remove or service the blinds, the $250 trip charge applies.

In this recent project in Squamish, BC, homeowners had just moved into a new townhome development with the following challenges:

Desire for a blackout environment in the bedroom
With no window coverings installed, the home felt exposed, overheated, and difficult to live in, especially since it had spaces that looked directly across to the neighbours. Fresh Design created a room-by-room solution that balanced privacy, light control, comfort, and daily usability.
In the main living areas, we installed motorized Duette® Honeycomb Shades with the Duolite® option, allowing natural light to filter in while maintaining privacy and reducing heat from the south-facing exposure.
For the high-traffic patio doors, we used floor-to-ceiling drapery custom-made in Vancouver. Drapery is an intuitive, vertical solution that stacks neatly to the side. It looks beautiful and is functional for everyday use.
Bedrooms were finished with layered room-darkening shades and drapery to create the perfect sleep-ready environment.
The result is a home that feels private, comfortable, and beautifully finished with effortless control through motorization. It now has a softer, more cohesive design throughout and will stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
