Modern West Vancouver Home with Drapery & Roller Shades
Design Challenge
This West Van home featured beautiful views, which the designer (Triple Dot Design Studio) wanted to preserve. The homeowners wanted to see their view even when the blinds were down.
They also wanted to create a theatre room downstairs in a space which had a tiny, awkward window in the middle of the back wall. Finally, the bedroom’s large windows needed a window treatment that would allow for a good night’s sleep.
Window Treatment Solution
Fresh Design’s team created a beautiful, cohesive look featuring drapery and blinds throughout the space. The bedroom was enhanced with luxurious, room-darkening, velvet drapery in a neutral colour. While the theatre room was pulled together with wall-to-wall drapery to cover the tiny back-wall window and create a true cinema vibe.
Our team installed white motorized roller shades in the living room and kitchen area, which allowed the homeowners to enjoy the view even when the blinds were down. By adding black fascia to the top, the blinds were a perfect match for the black window frames and moldings.
