Fresh Design and its team is Top Notch! I needed drapery and blinds for my condo and after doing some research I visited their showroom. It's an amazing place. Kristy immediately put me at ease and gave an overview of the different types of window coverings available and trending. She also came to my home and provided excellent advice on the choice of fabrics, color and design. Within days Logan came to take precise measurements with a minimum of fuss. After a few weeks the drapes, sheers and blinds were ready. Logan returned with his assistant, Ayden, and installed everything within a few hours. They did an amazing job in that short span of time. We ordered drapery and blinds for our bedroom, which gets very hot in the summer. Thanks to the premium quality of the products, the room now stays cool. Your needs and how you interact with your space is personal. Each blinds system comes with different lifting and light filtering options.

Worth Every Penny
It was very easy to set up an appointment with Vanessa - she came to our home right on time to discuss our needs. She was very knowledgeable, gave us different options and choices to choose from. She did some rough measurements for us and gave us a quote; a few days later her installer Scott and his team came and did accurate measurements (very friendly and professional, even had a special pair of shoes for indoor use only). On the installation day, Scott and his team arrived right on time, finished the installation within 2 hours. We are very happy with the result. Custom made curtains are pricey but with Fresh Design they are worth every penny. We received our rebate a few weeks after installation - Vanessa took care of all the paperwork, all we needed to do was to wait for the Amex card to arrive in the mail.

Fantastic Design Ideas

What is the process of ordering custom drapes?
Visiting our showroom is the best place to start planning your custom drapery.
At the Fresh Design Showroom you can view different fabric choices which range from patterns, sheers, linens, velvets, cottons, silks, synthetic blends, and so much more. We can point you in the right direction to find the perfect pattern and fabrics.
At our showroom in Kits, you can see the custom drapery on display making it easier to select from various pleating styles and drapery choices. At the showroom we also have hundreds of hardware styles and finishes to choose from.

It is helpful if you can bring a photo of the space with rough measurements so that we can start planning the perfect custom drapery for each room.

Once we help you select a few fabric choices, the next step will be a visit to your home.
We'll provide you with an in home consultation where we can measure the windows. After the measurement process, we'll provide you with a concept and estimate for your new drapery.

If your preferred fabric is in stock Custom Drapery takes 4-6 weeks to be made in our local workroom.

Our installation team provides two visits for drapery. The first visit is where they take exact measurements and the second appointment is to professionally install all hardware and drapery.
Our installers hang and steam the drapery as well as teach you how to tie the drapery to train the pleating.
Do you offer a free in-home consultation for custom window treatments?
Yes, you can book a free consultation with a window treatments expert. However, we recommend visiting the Fresh Design showroom before scheduling your in-home consultation. You'll be able to see all the fabric choices and drapery hardware options in person which will make the in-home consultation more effective.

What are the main types of drapery hardware offered at Fresh Design?
We have a range of professional drapery hardware to from which you can choose.
Professional drapery hardware differs from the hardware you can purchase from a hardware store. Fresh Design provides hardware with special rollers that guide the fabric smoothly across any width.
Hardware can come in many finishes including white, metal, and gold. They can also come in various shapes including round, square or flat. We offer local Vancouver suppliers as well as a line from Germany called Jab Hardware.
